I am feeling very encouraged today… every morning at early morning prayer, there is a group of teenagers there before us, ushering in the Holy Spirit before we “adults” ever arrive. They get there at 6am and cry out for God with boldness and passion. Let’s not forget that it’s SUMMER, and these kids are waking up before dawn to come spend time with the Father, uniting together to see lives changed for Him- and they have been doing this for months. They are incredible, and such an inspirational conviction to my heart! (And let’s not forget about the parents who get them there, either) Kudos to Tweez for raising up a young army who are so crazy in love with Jesus. (Check out T-Barry and Tori‘s blogs… they are two of the incredible kids there almost every day)
As I sat next to my amazing husband this morning while we were praying, a feeling of such gratitude and awe came over me. I have the most committed man on the planet. Not only does he work hard at his job and in our home, but he comes to every prayer gathering (no matter how early), works every service and event, sticks to his commitments, cries out to God for the lost and hurting daily- he is the epitome of a second mile Christian. And in a few months, he is going to be the most incredible daddy on the planet. I am blessed!
