People keep walking up to us and saying, “I don’t remember my child ever being that small.” It definitely makes me want to cherish every single moment with her… I just want to stare at her all day so I won’t forget what she was like as a teeny baby. I swear she grows and changes every day and looks like a completely different little girl than the pictures that were taken in the hospital. It’s only been six weeks! I look exactly the same as I did six weeks ago! Here are some recent pics of our sweet angel:

Parents: What is your favorite memory of your child when he/she was a newborn? What advice do you have for us as parents of a brand new baby?

she really is so beautiful. she looks like chris to me in that last pic
i don’t know my favorite memory…all of them!
i did want to tell you this cool “advice” that i just started doing.
kids do the most amazing things – all the time, you know? well, i found a neat, convenient way to document those precious moments.
brad created an email address for brie and whenever she does something cute or funny or unforgettable…i send her an email telling the story.
maybe one day we have lots of laughs and tears reading all the stories again.

She does look just like Chris! Let’s see….one Dylon was a baby (13 years ago), I thought it was SO cute that he would lay on his side and sleep sometimes, because he had a little fat round belly and it was like a little puppy dog sleeping. Anyway, as for advice, be sure that you & Chris begin having that one on one date night without her. VERY GOOD ADVICE! I know you may not want to leave her now, but you’ll be nuts in a few months without that husband/wife, just us as a couple, not us as parents, time. *Tip from Growing Kids Gods Way & my own experience.
