To all of you who have stood by us and prayed with us through this adoption journey, THANK YOU!! We have a prayer request related to our case and we need you to press in with us!
Our case was originally assigned to the less favorable judge. She takes her time in EVERYTHING, doesn’t show up to court dates, and spends months making families wait to issue rulings. It’s not good. However, she is taking leave in January, so our attorney is attempting to get us assigned a different judge/court date during that time. Our original judge has to sign off on the change, which she apparently has refused to do up until this point.
Our attorney emailed today to say that he is going to see a friend who has helped him before at the registrar’s office on Thursday the 17th. He is hoping that she will get it taken care of.
We have peace that this will all happen in God’s timing… We know He has a plan that is MUCH better than ours. But we miss our son and want him home. Should this not work out, the likelihood is that we will be stuck with the original judge, not be able to travel til at least February, and then God only knows when it will actually be that we get to bring our sweet boy home.
So… PLEASE pray that Peter (our attorney) would have favor with the new registrar on Thursday and they would somehow get us reassigned to a good judge, so that we can travel in January!!

I’m praying with you and for you. I can only imagine the anxiety that has to keep boiling over– probably even in the most unsuspecting moments, but I also know that you fully and completely trust His timing. I’m so thankful that God is holding and loving your son until you’re able to have him in your arms. I am specifically praying that God would push aside mountains (like power trips, prejudice and spite in the heart of your currently assigned judge) and allow peace to pour over the remainder of this process.
