Hi Meghan,
I’ve been following your blog the last couple of weeks when I found out you were adopting from Uganda. I think I found it from Shawnda’s blog. Anyways, we are almost done with our homestudy and hope to travel to Uganda soon to adopt a child from Sanyu as well. So, I just wanted to say THANK YOU for loving and caring for those kids because there’s a good chance one of them is ours! And it just gives my heart such joy to know that he/she is being loved today!

WOW girl…i just want to be there too especially after hearing how those kids just need so much love! I agree with you…when we go I hope we get a chance to show Christ’s love to all the orphans there not just the one God entrusted us with! How awesome for you to worship our Savior over there with them! So happy things are going well and God is working in our heart! I realize the more and more God draws me closer to Him, the more I see how awful and sinful I am without Him!

God is always around us, it is awsome when we let go and hear and see God. He says He never leaves us but because we are not listening closely to his call we miss alot that he speaks to us. Me included. I pray for Godly eyes and ears to hear what he has for us to do. God bless and your family while ya’ll are away and send you home with a changed heart with a closer walk with him. Keep lovin’ on those kiddos! You are the hands and feet of God. They will see Christ’s love through you. One of the amazing things that we also discovered/are discovering during our adoption journey was that God had so much more planned than just uniting us with our children (how selfish and naive of me to think that God’s plan was that small! ). You are touching lives and soul’s for Christ. I pray for you that you will have the continued strength and energy and outpouring of love for all of these children and people that you encounter; that the enemy wouldn’t be capable of attacking you through means of depression, sleep-deprivation, such humanly, fleshly attacks, but that you would sing God’s praises for the never ending ability to love, serve, give to these people, all through the strength that God will provide, just for the asking. Then you will sing of God’s miracles and praises all of your days! I pray a legion of angel’s to surround you and hold you up through this time. I pray that the food you eat would be pleasing and well used by your body, and that your times of rest would be peaceful and uneventful. I pray that you would find time and take time to sabbath with our Father each day, and that that would bring you peace and joy and awe.
